At the ceremony, the National Economics University awarded 66 new PhDs and welcomed 122 new students of the 46th course.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of the National Economics University - shared: "The opening ceremony is for new graduate students - those who start sowing seeds, opening the journey to conquer the pinnacle of academics. The certificate awarding ceremony for new PhDs - those who have successfully reaped sweet fruits - marked the journey of persistent efforts of young scientists.
But all of them are towards a common goal, which is to contribute to the development of the country with capacity, intelligence and a true academic spirit".
Sending a message to the 66 new PhDs awarded today, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong said that with courage, intelligence and confidence, the new PhDs will not only be successful in their scientific careers. They can also become leaders of change, so that knowledge does not stop at the paper pages, but is also transformed into new initiatives and values, contributing to the process of knowledge transfer, innovation in the community, businesses and society.
"The doctorate you received today is not only a testament to your knowledge but also a commitment to science and the community. The research journey has ended a difficult journey but opened a new mission, which is the mission of spreading knowledge, promoting creativity to contribute to the development of the country. No matter the position, always keep your passion for academics, your service spirit and your desire to contribute" - Mr. Nhuong emphasized.
With 122 46-year-old students, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong emphasized that this is the beginning of a long journey, where knowledge is formed not only from books but also from practice, experience and the spirit of self-study and self-discovery.
"On the path to conquering knowledge ahead, you will face many difficulties, challenges, and even moments when you want to stop. But you always remember that to conquer the pinnacle of knowledge, you must have passion, perseverance and a desire to contribute.

Representing the new PhDs, Dr. Nguyen Bao Ngoc - Marketing Lecturer, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology - expressed: "The research journey is not a short period of time, and is not an easy path, but an extremely meaningful, colorful and equally ups and downs journey. That journey is long enough to make us improve our professional capacity, challenging enough for us to surpass ourselves, rich enough for us to experience many emotions.
