Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has just announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) and the principle of conversion of admission scores between admission combinations using the high school graduation exam results in 2026.
According to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the floor score applies to candidates in region 3, calculated on a 30-point scale, without multiplication of coefficients, without adding priority points.
Among them, the two majors with the highest benchmark scores are Medicine and Odonto-Stomatology with 23 points.
Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy majors have a floor score of 20 points.
The group of majors with a floor score of 18 points includes: Preventive Medicine, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nursing, Specialized Nursing in Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Obstetrics, Nutrition, Dental Rehabilitation Techniques, Medical Laboratory Techniques, Medical Imaging Techniques and Rehabilitation Techniques.
The three majors with the lowest benchmark scores are Psychology, Public Health and Social Work, all at 17 points.
In addition to announcing the floor score, the school also announced the principle of converting admission scores between admission combinations for the method of using high school graduation exam scores in 2026.
The B00 combination is chosen as the original combination. The admission score of the A00 combination is determined to be equivalent to B00, while the admission scores of the B08, D01 and D07 combinations will be 1.5 points lower than the B00 combination in the same major.
