On November 10, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van signed a decision to issue regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province.
The regulation aims to unify management work, prevent the situation of additional teaching and learning in violation of regulations, and at the same time create conditions for students who need to consolidate appropriate knowledge.
The provincial Department of Education and Training is assigned to be the agency in charge of, guiding, organizing the implementation, inspection and handling of violations; at the same time, publicize the address to receive feedback to increase transparency in policy implementation.
Some notable points in the regulation such as extra teaching in schools: Do not collect money or funding from the state budget and other legal sources, publicly in internal spending regulations.
extracurricular teaching: Organizations and individuals must register for business, be responsible for quality, records, student rights and financial obligations according to regulations.
Commune-level management: Commune-level People's Committees strengthen inspection, supervision, receipt of feedback and periodic reports twice a year on extra teaching and learning activities in the area.
Support for disadvantaged students: Encourage tuition exemption and reduction for students from poor households, policy families, ethnic minorities or those in difficult circumstances.
Responsibility of educational institutions: The head of an educational institution must strictly manage teachers who participate in extra-curricular teaching.
This regulation aims to ensure transparent tutoring and extra learning activities, in line with the learning needs and rights of students.
