On September 17, the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Dak Lak province said that after arranging the school network, the locality has reduced more than 640 heads of educational institutions and 870 management staff. Among these, more than 750 management staff have been re-arranged as teachers.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, to date, new educational institutions formed after arrangement have all been decided to be established. However, some tasks related to registration of seals, opening accounts, handing over finances, assets and data standardization are still being implemented.
The arrangement also creates new requirements in management and administration, especially in large-scale schools with many school sites. Units must review and assign appropriate personnel to ensure stable teaching and learning activities.
Sharing about personnel arrangement, a kindergarten teacher in Dliê Ya commune (Đắk Lắk province) said that she used to be a vice principal, now she has been arranged to return to work as a teacher.
After arranging educational institutions in the area, I went from deputy principal to teacher. I feel quite comfortable returning from the role of manager to teaching classes.
The commune area is in a remote area of the province, and being able to work and contribute to the education sector is already lucky. I feel very comfortable with my current job because I have also been a teacher for decades before," this person shared.
Previously, at the working session on September 16 with the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Standing Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong, representatives of educational institutions affected by the arrangement raised some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
Through exchanges, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong requested the Dak Lak education sector to continue to strengthen decentralization and delegation of power in school management in the spirit of "clear people, clear tasks". People who are decentralized and delegated power must be associated with responsibility to heads of units and management agencies according to regulations.
Continuing to improve the organizational structure, assign personnel and standardize operating conditions is considered tasks that need to be focused on to ensure that educational institutions after arrangement operate stably and effectively.
