This year's 10th grade high school entrance exam took place on June 7 and 8. Candidates have registered their wishes to enter grade 10 for the specialized subjects exam on June 9.
Candidates should note to be present tomorrow morning (June 6) at the exam locations to complete the procedures to take the exam.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi has four high schools specializing in enrolling students in grade 10, including: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School, Chu Van An High School, Nguyen Hue High School and Son Tay High School.
To be eligible for admission to grade 10 major according to their registered wishes, candidates must take 3 public grade 10 entrance exams ( Math, Literature, English) and the major exam.
Candidates who have registered their wishes to be admitted to grade 10 of these schools should note to take the exam at the correct time and location. This information has been clearly stated in the exam reports sent to each candidate.
In this year's public high school 10th grade exam, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has arranged 20 exam scores for candidates who wish to register for the specialized school exam. These 20 test scores are among 201 public 10th grade exam scores that are not specialized.


At this year's 10th grade high school entrance exam, the whole city had 115,951 candidates registered to take the exam (including 102,860 candidates taking the non-professional public exam, 13,091 candidates taking the professional exam).
Hanoi has arranged 4,411 exam rooms, 201 reserve exam rooms; 201 public exam locations and 20 specialized exam locations in 30 districts, towns and cities.
With such a scale, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has mobilized 15,173 cadres, teachers, employees, and police forces to participate in organizing the exam review at the Exam Points and more than 2,000 cadres and teachers to participate in the exam marking work.
This year, the exam results and benchmark scores will be announced at the same time, expected from July 4 to 6, 2025.
