According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), after having high school graduation exam scores, from July 1 to before 5 pm on July 10, universities will announce the input quality assurance threshold (floor score).
For teacher training majors, health and law, the floor score is announced on July 8.
Immediately after announcing the high school graduation exam scores for 2026, from July 1, many universities have announced the minimum admission scores.

3. Vietnam National University Hanoi
Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) announced the minimum admission score for 2026 is 19 points - a total of three high school graduation exam subjects, not multiplied by a coefficient, already including regional priority points, subjects.
With the HSA competency assessment test result consideration method, the admission score will be converted to the equivalent of a 30-point scale and the floor score will also be 19.
For other admission methods, member schools also convert equivalent amounts, and then announce them to candidates.
For teacher training, law and health majors, member schools will determine and announce the floor score later, not lower than the general level of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Ministry of Education and Training (see more HERE)
2. FPT University
FPT University has just announced the minimum admission score (admission quality assurance threshold) for the 2026 regular university system is 18 points.
For the Bachelor of Talent program in Computer Science, the admission floor score is 21 points. This policy applies to all training majors and campuses of FPT University nationwide in the 2026 enrollment period (see more HERE).
1. Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry is the first school to announce the minimum admission score for all methods.
With the admission method from high school graduation exam scores, transcripts, the floor score is from 16 - 18 points.

From 2026, candidates using high school graduation exam scores for university admission must have a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of at least 15/30 points. However, this regulation does not apply to cases of direct admission, priority admission and some special subjects according to Clause 1, Clause 2 (points a, c, d, đ), Clause 3, Clause 4 Article 8 of the 2026 Enrollment Regulations.
Also according to the regulations, each training institution is only allowed to use a maximum of 5 enrollment methods (excluding direct admission, admission for sent students, admission for university preparatory students).
Enrollment methods must clearly stipulate evaluation and admission criteria, how to calculate admission scores, and admission conditions. Criteria used for evaluation and admission must be based on the requirements of basic knowledge and core competencies that candidates need to have to study the training program.
The admission methods also need to ensure that each candidate has the opportunity to achieve the maximum score according to the 30-point scoring scale for admission combinations according to 3 subjects and ensure that no candidates have admission scores exceeding the 30-point score (including bonus points and priority points).
