Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry has just announced the minimum admission scores for university and college admission programs for regular preschool education in 2026.
This year, the school considers admission according to 4 methods: Considering competency assessment exam scores organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2026; considering high school graduation exam scores, considering transcripts; considering transcripts combined with graduation exam scores.
With the method of using high school graduation exam scores or combining exam scores with transcripts, converting foreign language certificates, the benchmark score ranges from 16-18 points. Some majors such as English Language, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine... have higher benchmark scores, at 18 points.
For the transcript-based admission method, the minimum admission score for admission to the school ranges from 18-20 points.

For the Preschool Education sector (college and university level) and the Agricultural Technical Pedagogy sector, the input quality assurance threshold is implemented according to the separate regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In addition, the school notes that all candidates registering for admission to the school by any admission method must be from the admission source according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Accordingly, candidates must achieve a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination (or Math, Literature and another subject) from 15 points or higher on a 30-point scale. This regulation does not apply to candidates who are specially considered for high school graduation.
With the transcript review method, the score of each subject in the admission combination is calculated by the average score of 6 high school semesters (10th, 11th and 12th grades). In which it is mandatory to have Math or Literature, with the weighting of the admission score not lower than 1/3 of the total score according to the 30-point scale.
With the method of using the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2026, the floor score is mainly 601 points, some majors take a floor score of 650/1,200 points.
The school also noted that the input quality assurance threshold is applied to candidates in area 3, not enjoying priority according to subjects.
