After completing three common exams of the non-specialized public 10th grade entrance exam in two days, May 30 and 31, more than 16,000 students continued to take the exam for specialized classes in the city this morning.
According to the regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, candidates registering for admission to four specialized high schools including Hanoi - Amsterdam, Chu Van An, Nguyen Hue and Son Tay will participate in the specialized subject exam corresponding to their chosen aspirations.
In the morning, starting from 8 am, candidates take exams for specialized subjects Literature, Mathematics (for specialized Math and Computer Science classes) and some other foreign languages.
Each specialized exam has a duration of 150 minutes.

According to the schedule, this afternoon from 2 pm, students will take the specialized subjects of the Natural Sciences group including Physics, Chemistry, Biology; History, Geography and English subjects.
This year, candidates are allowed to register for admission to specialized classes of a maximum of two out of four specialized high schools under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. Students can choose the same specialized subject in two different schools or register for different specialized subjects if the exam time does not coincide with the schedule.
To participate in the specialized exam round, students must pass the preliminary selection, and concurrently take all three common subjects including Literature, Mathematics, Foreign Language and the specialized subject exam according to their registered aspirations.
