On the evening of December 15, Thang Long University organized the music festival “Dragon Land: Echoes of Wonder” - an event in a series of activities celebrating the 36th anniversary of the school's founding.
Nguyen Duc Vinh - first year student, Faculty of Applied Music, Thang Long University (champion of Vietnam's Got Talent 2014) felt lucky and a bit nervous when he was able to stand on stage, with his classmates in the faculty, performing the song "Drum Rice".
"Although I have performed many times, today I feel indescribable and nervous. My friends and I have practiced together for more than a month to have a performance tonight" - Duc Vinh shared.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Lecturer of Applied Music Department, Thang Long University said that the special point of this year's program is that in addition to the performances of students, there are also performances by lecturers. These are the best performances from the talent contest "Thang Long Say Hi" organized by the University to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day last November.
This year's Dragon Land concert also satisfied the audience, attracting the participation of many students with the "huge" 3-storey stage, modern sound and lighting system similar to the popular concerts recently such as "Call Me by Fire" or "Anh trai say hi",...
"We want to create a truly dynamic, modern, and pioneering learning environment in applied training. Not only students, but also generations of lecturers need to keep up with changing trends," Mr. Quang shared.
