On November 11, many parents and residents of Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward and D'Ran commune continued to join hands to build a trail across D'Ran pass to take their children to school. This action received the attention of the community and local authorities.

Mr. Tran Van Tuan, who shared these photos, said: In early November, D'Ran Pass suffered a serious landslide, so the authorities banned all people and vehicles from passing through this area.
Previously, students from Xuan Truong ward to D'Ran commune traveled less than 10km to study. Currently, D'Ran Pass is landslide, traffic is prohibited. If you go around Prenn Pass and National Highway 27, the distance will be up to nearly 80km.
Therefore, parents and people have worked together to repair the trail through the forest and coffee plantations to make it easier for students, teachers and people to travel during the harvest season

The trail is about 400m long, running along the hillsides and through many areas of people's coffee plantations. However, the days of prolonged rain make the road muddy and slippery, making it difficult to move.
In recent days, many parents have volunteered to use tractors to transport students, teachers and people through this dangerous muddy road.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Principal of Hung Vuong High School (D'Ran commune) said that in addition to the school's students, there are students from other schools going to school through this trail.
The school has 4 students and 1 teacher from the pass down to study and work. Every day, the school's board of directors calls to visit and grasp the situation of the students to promptly support them.
After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward directed the spread of stone in muddy sections to make it more convenient for people to travel.
Mr. Tran Hung Son, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, said: This is only a temporary solution while waiting for the authorities to fix and repair the D'Ran Pass.

From October 26 to October 30, due to the impact of heavy rains, leading to the National Highway 20 section from Km262+400 - Km262+530 (D'Ran Pass suspension bridge area) in Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward, landslides, subsidence cracks, and road surface causing traffic congestion appeared.
On November 2, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to declare a natural disaster emergency on the road of National Highway 20, section Km262+400 - Km262+530.
