The Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has just announced the entrance exam scores for 10th grade high school in the 2026-2027 school year.
Accordingly, the exam took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. The grading results recorded that the whole province had 1,843 exam papers achieving 8 points or higher.
According to the Department of Education and Training, in the 2026 - 2027 school year, the whole province organizes 29 exam councils. There are 6,367 candidates taking the Literature exam, 6,367 candidates taking the English exam and 6,366 candidates taking the Math exam.
The exam marking results show that there are 1,843 exam papers with scores from 8 points or higher, including 642 Math papers, 871 English papers and 330 Literature papers. Notably, the whole province has 174 exam papers with scores from 9.5 points or higher, of which English accounts for 158 papers and Math has 16 papers.
The Department of Education and Training also announced the benchmark scores for 10th grade enrollment into high schools in the province (before re-examination and before changes in candidates not participating in admission consideration).
Accordingly, the City High School has the highest benchmark score with 17.75 points, while Thong Hue High School has the lowest benchmark score of 7.75 points.

For enrollment in Specialized High Schools, in addition to three common subjects including Math, Literature and English, candidates take additional specialized subjects according to their wishes including Math, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and History.
As a result, 23 specialized subject exam papers achieved over 8 points, including 7 Math papers, 5 English papers, 4 Literature papers, 3 Physics papers, 3 History papers and 1 Chemistry paper.
According to the plan, from July 13 to 17, 2026, high schools will receive applications for re-examination from candidates in need.
After summarizing, the Department of Education and Training will organize a review according to regulations and is expected to approve the enrollment results of high schools at the end of July 2026.
