The admission benchmark score of the school is as follows:


In 2026, the Engineering Officer School enrolls 295 quotas for the Engineering Technical Command major, an increase of 99 compared to last year. Of which, 177 quotas are for candidates in the North and 118 quotas in the South. The school only enrolls male candidates.
Candidates can apply for admission by 4 methods, including direct admission and priority admission; competency assessment exam scores of two National Universities; QDA competency assessment exam scores of the Ministry of National Defense and high school graduation exam scores.
This year is the first time the Ministry of National Defense has organized the QDA exam. Candidates using the results of this exam or competency assessment exams of two National Universities will be converted to a 30-point scale for admission to the Engineer Officer School.
