7/9 major codes have increased benchmark scores
According to the announcement of the Admissions Council of Hoa Lu University, in 2026, the major with the highest benchmark score is History - Geography Pedagogy with 25.88 points. Next is Mathematics Pedagogy 25.41 points; Primary Education 24.87 points; Preschool Education 24.40 points and Natural Science Pedagogy 23.70 points.
In the non-pedagogical major group, Tourism takes 19.10 points; Business Administration 17.75 points; Accounting 16.75 points and Information Technology 16 points.
Compared to 2025, the benchmark score of the school this year increased quite clearly. In 2025, the benchmark score for Primary Education is 23 points; Mathematics Pedagogy 24.02 points; Natural Science Pedagogy 20.10 points; History - Geography Pedagogy 27.07 points; Preschool Education 22.88 points; Business Administration, Accounting and Information Technology together 16 points; Tourism 18 points.
Thus, the Natural Sciences Pedagogy major increased the most, from 20.10 to 23.70 points (up 3.60 points). Primary Education increased by 1.87 points; Business Administration increased by 1.75 points; Preschool Education increased by 1.52 points; Mathematics Pedagogy increased by 1.39 points; Tourism increased by 1.10 points and Accounting increased by 0.75 points.
Information technology keeps the level of 16 points unchanged. History - Geography Pedagogy alone decreased by 1.19 points, from 27.07 to 25.88 points, but it is still the major with the highest admission score of the school in 2026.
For the Preschool Education sector, the comparison of scores between the two years is only for reference because in 2025 the admission method combines aptitude scores, while the announcement in 2026 determines the admission score based on the high school graduation exam results.
Registered candidates increase sharply
Mr. Duong Trong Luyen - Vice Rector of Hoa Lu University said that a noteworthy point of this year's enrollment is the sharp increase in the number of candidates registering for Hoa Lu University.
Data on the Ministry of Education and Training's system is 13,537 candidates registered for admission to the school, with a total of 17,343 aspirations (4 times higher than in 2025 and more than 10 times higher than the school's 2026 official enrollment target), this is an extremely impressive figure.
In which, the Primary Education sector leads with 8,151 aspirations, followed by Preschool Education 3,942 aspirations, Tourism 1,747 aspirations, Accounting 957 aspirations, Business Administration 757 aspirations, Natural Science Pedagogy 586 aspirations, History - Geography Pedagogy 543 aspirations, Mathematics Pedagogy 372 aspirations and Information Technology 288 aspirations.
In 2026, Hoa Lu University is expected to recruit 1,210 targets, an increase of 500 targets compared to 2025. In which, Primary Education has 400 targets, Preschool Education 300, Tourism 250, Accounting 100, Business Administration and Information Technology each major 50 targets; three majors of Mathematics Pedagogy, Natural Science Pedagogy, History - Geography Pedagogy each major 20 targets.
Successful candidates must confirm enrollment on the common enrollment system before 5:00 PM on August 21. Primary Education and Preschool Education majors enroll on August 20; the remaining majors enroll on August 21" - Mr. Luyen said.
