The Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province has just announced the results of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year and the benchmark scores for Chu Van An Specialized High School.
This year, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted enrolls 12 specialized classes with 420 students.
Some classes with high benchmark scores include Literature specialized 40.25 points, Chemistry specialized 39.35 points, Mathematics specialized 37.75 points, English specialized 37.50 points. The remaining classes are considered for admission according to the recruitment source and approved quota.
According to the Department of Education and Training, the exam was organized safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. After completing the grading and admission consideration, the exam scores are announced on the online lookup system for students and parents to follow.
The Department has coordinated with the Information Center under the Office of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee to prepare technical infrastructure, ensuring the search system operates stably when the access volume increases.
The admission score for specialized classes is calculated according to the formula: the total specialized score is 2 times the specialized subject score, plus Math, Literature and English scores. This formula applies to candidates registering for the 1st specialized aspiration and the 2nd specialized aspiration.
For candidates who are not admitted to specialized schools, the admission score to high schools is calculated by 2 times the total score of Math and Literature, plus English scores and priority points if any.
The Department of Education and Training requests schools to widely announce exam results, and at the same time receive enrollment applications and exam re-examination applications according to regulations, ensuring the rights of candidates.
The announcement of exam scores and benchmark scores is the basis for schools to complete 10th grade enrollment, helping students and parents prepare enrollment documents in the new school year.
