This is also the subject with the fewest scores of 10 in this year's exam if not counting Literature, the only subject without a score of 10.


This year, the Economic and Legal Education subject has 282,519 candidates taking the exam. The average score is 5.02, a sharp decrease compared to 7.69 in 2025, which is a decrease of 2.67 points.
Trung Vi achieved 5.0 points, while the score level with the most candidates achieving is 5.75. Nationwide, there are 22,480 candidates achieving 7 points or higher, accounting for 7.96%, a very deep decrease compared to the rate of 78.17% of the previous year.
Conversely, there are 135,276 candidates below average (under 5 points), accounting for 47.88%, a sharp increase compared to 2.57% in 2025.
This exam has no exam papers with a score of 0, but there are 15 papers that achieved 1 point or less.
The score distribution in 2026 shows that most candidates achieved in the range of 4-6 points, with the peak of the distribution concentrated at 5.75 points. Compared to 2025, the score distribution shifted sharply from the good and excellent score group to the average score group.


Regarding results by locality, Ho Chi Minh City leads the country in the average score of Economic and Legal Education with 5.461 points, followed by Phu Tho ( 5.328), Ninh Binh (5.298), Hai Phong City (5.290) and Ha Tinh (5.237).
Meanwhile, Lai Chau has the lowest average score in the country with 4.268 points. Only 13 provinces and cities have an average score higher than the national average of 5.023 points.
In terms of the number of perfect scores, only Hung Yen and Thanh Hoa have candidates achieving perfect scores, each locality 1 perfect score 10. The remaining 32 provinces and cities have no exams achieving perfect scores.
Comparing with 2025 shows a very large change in the high score group. Last year, Hanoi led the country with 172 scores of 10, followed by Ho Chi Minh City (166), Hai Phong (110), Nghe An (103) and Phu Tho (89). In 2026, the total number of scores of 10 nationwide is only 2, down 99.86% compared to the previous year. At the same time, the national average score decreased by 2.67 points, and the percentage of candidates achieving 7 points or more decreased by more than 70 percentage points.
