The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the exam scores of subjects and the 2026 high school graduation exam.
This year, there are 334,547 candidates participating in the English exam.
The results of analyzing the score distribution of the high school graduation exam in English for the whole country show that the average score is 5.07 points (in 2025 it is 5.38).
The number of candidates achieving scores greater than or equal to 7 is 53,107, accounting for 15.874%. The score with the most candidates achieving is 4.25 points, down from 5.25 points last year.
The number of candidates scoring below average is 168,105 (accounting for 50.25%). Last year, this number was 38.22%.
The whole country has 311 students achieving 10 points in English, of which 118 students are from Hanoi (equivalent to 37.9%). There are 5 localities without 10 points in English including: Cao Bang, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lang Son, Ca Mau.
Among localities, Hanoi City has the highest average high school graduation exam score in the country (5.549 points); Tay Ninh has the lowest average score in the country (4.533 points).
There are 6 provinces/cities with an average high school graduation exam score higher than the national average (5.074 points).
