Each child receiving support from the Fund for Accompanying Students in Difficult Areas is proud, not self-conscious or inferior.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - former Principal of Hanoi National University of Education shared the above information at the program "Green Journey accompanying students in disadvantaged areas of Hanoi National University of Education" on the evening of January 9.

"This fund carries the meaning of gratitude to spread gratitude, love and aspiration for good things for the future, for places and lives that still have many difficulties" - Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh emphasized and at the same time said that each student receiving support from the Fund is proud, there is nothing inferior or self-conscious because they are the ones who go to spread faith, go to serve, not the weak who need help and grace for themselves.

The Fund to accompany students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education was established from the initiative of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - former Principal of the school; to carry out activities to encourage learning, encourage talents, and award prizes to motivate and encourage students to overcome difficulties and promote their own abilities in studying and training.

The fund was launched on January 12, 2024, receiving sponsorship from many businesses, organizations and individuals.

In the first year of its establishment, the Companion Fund awarded 16 meaningful scholarships to students, of which 6 students from K70 received support, the rest were students from courses 71, 72, and 73.

Of the 6 K70 students who received support from the school's Companion Fund, 4 have graduated and currently have stable jobs locally.

Young teacher Hoang Minh Tam, a new teacher at Pac Nam Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Na Leng village, Boc Bo commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province, is a former student of Hanoi National University of Education. Minh Tam is one of the students who received support and companionship from the fund and now, after graduating, she has been recruited and become a teacher.

"I feel very lucky to receive the care and help of teachers and the school board. The fund to support students in difficult areas has given me more hope," Minh Tam emotionally shared.

Right at the ceremony, Hanoi National University of Education announced that the Fund to accompany students in difficult areas of Hanoi National University of Education received 550 million VND.
