The exam has differentiation
Candidates in Hanoi have completed the 10th grade public high school entrance exam with 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. According to Mr. Do Van Bao - Math teacher, Vinschool Inter-level School, this year's Math exam is built in a stable direction after the first year of structural innovation. The exam closely follows the curriculum, is not tricky, and ensures that students have a solid grasp of basic knowledge and can get a good score. At the same time, the geometry and application problems are still capable of classifying good and excellent students.
This year's exam can be assessed as slightly better in the geometry part but lighter in the algebra part, so the overall difficulty is equivalent or slightly lower, the expected score distribution will mainly focus on about 7-8 points, while the number of papers achieving absolute scores is still not large due to the thinking requirements in the geometry part and practical optimization" - teacher Bao assessed.
Regarding Literature, Ms. Huong Giang - a teacher at Archimedes Secondary School - said that the exam was manageable, not too difficult, and suitable for students to get an average score if they firmly grasped the basic knowledge. However, the differentiation mainly lies in the writing part because it requires reasoning, expressing and depth of thought.
Ms. Huong Giang predicts that the score distribution will be concentrated in the range of 5 - 7 points; good and excellent students may achieve 7.5 - 8 points, while excellent papers may reach the threshold of 8.5 - 9.5 points.
Regarding English, Ms. Tran Thi Lua - Head of the English Department, Galileo High School - said that the exam is no longer just a simple knowledge test, but a comprehensive assessment of thinking and language skills. It is predicted that the score distribution for the 10th grade English exam this year will be concentrated in the range of 6 - 7 points.

Prediction of benchmark score fluctuations
According to Ms. Le Minh Thu - Vice Principal of Galileo High School (Hanoi), based on the differentiation level of each exam, it is predicted that this year's score distribution will fluctuate.
Ms. Thu assessed that the total score distribution of three exam subjects of Hanoi candidates is likely to be concentrated in the range of 21 to 24 points. From 25 points or higher, the level of competition will become clearer, and at the same time accurately reflect the learning ability of candidates.
Regarding benchmark scores, the female Vice Rector said that the top group of schools is likely to remain stable or increase slightly compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, schools in the middle and lower top groups may experience notable fluctuations due to changes in score distribution and registered aspirations.
These predictions are only for reference, Ms. Thu advises students not to be too stressed after completing the exam. This is a suitable time to rest, relax and rebalance their spirits.
Students can read books, meet friends, participate in favorite activities or simply spend time for themselves. The important thing is to maintain a cheerful and confident attitude to be ready to enter the years of studying at the high school level" - Ms. Thu advised.
