On the afternoon of May 31st, Hai Phong Department of Education and Training quickly reported on the organization of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year in Hai Phong city for the Foreign Language exam.
Accordingly, the whole city has 105 councils with 2,638 exam rooms. The total number of candidates registered to take the Foreign Language exam is 61,751 candidates (English: 61,632 candidates; Japanese: 60 candidates; Korean: 13 candidates; French: 46 candidates).
In the afternoon of May 31, there were 61,268 candidates taking the exam, 483 candidates were absent. Among them, 123 candidates were absent due to direct admission, and 360 candidates did not take the exam. On the first exam day, there were no unusual incidents, and no candidates violated the regulations.
After the Foreign Language exam, many candidates assessed that the exam was manageable and candidates could easily get high scores.
Tomorrow, June 1st, candidates will take the Literature exam in the morning in essay form, the exam time is 120 minutes. In the afternoon, candidates take the Math exam, in multiple-choice form, for 90 minutes. Candidates registered to take the exam at specialized high schools will participate in specialized subjects on June 2nd.
