On May 26, Vinh Hao Commune People's Committee, Lam Dong province, announced that it had issued a decision to dissolve Mam Xanh independent daycare group in Vinh Son village, owned by Ms. Pham Thi Tu.
According to the decision, the reason for dissolution is that the facility no longer ensures the conditions for organization and operation according to current regulations.
Mam Xanh kindergarten must terminate all educational activities from the date the decision takes effect. This facility is also responsible for fully resolving the legitimate rights of children, teachers and staff in accordance with the law.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at the end of March 2026, at this childcare group, an incident occurred where child N.T. K. L (born in May 2025, residing in Vinh Hai village) died, suspected of choking on food while being kept here.

At noon on March 23, baby L was fed porridge for lunch. While eating, she showed signs of choking. Two babysitters at the facility performed first aid on the spot, but the condition did not improve.
After that, the kindergarten contacted the family to take the child to Vinh Hao Commune Health Station for emergency treatment. However, the child died later.
Immediately after the incident, the local authorities directed the police agency to investigate and clarify the cause. Mam Xanh kindergarten group was also temporarily suspended from operation to serve the investigation.
Vinh Hao Commune People's Committee said that after the incident, the locality has organized surprise and periodic inspections of independent childcare groups, independent kindergarten classes of the semi-public and private types in the area.
Through inspection, functional agencies focus on reviewing childcare conditions, facilities, personnel and safety assurance procedures at childcare facilities to promptly detect, rectify and handle violations, and limit the risk of unsafety for children.
