On the morning of June 6, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) Tran The Cuong visited and encouraged exam staff and candidates at the exam locations of Yen Hoa High School and Cau Giay High School.
Mr. Cuong told them that during the exam days, they should not stay up late to study, instead need to go to bed early, stay alert; arrive at the exam on time and remember to follow the regulations.
According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training, the exam format structure has been announced by the Department from the beginning of the school year for students to get acquainted with the problem and the method.
The main exam content is in the grade 9 program, ensuring no problems, not outside the program that students have studied at the junior high school level.
"I hope you are calm, confident, do your homework focused, carefully, and not be subjective to optimize your scores and pass the entrance exam to the school you want" - Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training told.
At the exam scores, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training emphasized the importance of the exam as well as the goal of ensuring safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations, so they recommended that teachers participate in all stages of the exam with a serious spirit, not subjective, or negligent in situations.
Hanoi is a locality with a large number of candidates taking the winter exam, the organization will be more difficult, requiring more attention and thoughtfulness to every detail. In particular, taking the exam regulations as the core to handle possible situations.
In case, there are situations beyond the ability and authority to handle, the exam preparation officer must report to the Head of the exam score and ask for the opinion of the Examination Council. Handling situations based on the principle of ensuring maximum benefits for candidates.
Tomorrow morning (7.6), candidates entered the first exam day of the exam with Literature. In the afternoon, candidates take the Foreign Language exam. In particular, Literature has a 120 -minute test and foreign language is 60 minutes. The math test will take place on the morning of 8.6.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the whole city has nearly 103,000 candidates registered to take the exam. The city has arranged 4,411 exam rooms, 201 reserve exam rooms; 201 exam locations; mobilized 15,173 officers, teachers, employees, and police forces to participate in organizing the exam.
This year, the number of students admitted to public high schools is 64% (an increase of 3% compared to the previous year). The city plans to have 3 public high schools about to come into operation with over 1,000 targets, meeting the learning needs of students in the capital.
