New regulations on plus points in 2025 university admissions
The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that from the 2025 enrollment season, the total bonus points will not exceed 10% of the maximum score of the consideration scale (maximum 3 points on a 30. scale) to increase transparency and fairness.
This adjustment limits unfairness due to abuse of admission based on foreign language certificates and other achievements. Schools can still apply additional scores according to their own characteristics, but no candidate has a score exceeding the maximum. The regulation has received support from many universities.

Detailed instructions on how to take the multiple-choice test for high school graduation
2025 is the first year that the high school graduation exam will take place according to the new general education program, held on June 26-27. Candidates take 4 subjects including 2 compulsory subjects (Literature, Mathematics) and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects of grade 12. Literature for the essay exam (120 minutes), Math for the multiple-choice exam (90 minutes), other subjects for the multiple-choice exam (50 minutes).
The multiple-choice test subjects are divided into 3 parts:
Part I - multiple-choice correct answer (0.25 points/question).
Part II - test correct/Sai (scored according to correct ideas).
Part III - short answer questions (0.5 points/subject for Math, 0.25 points/ Subject for other subjects).

Phu Quoc requests to handle responsibility for beating preschool students
The People's Committee of Phu Quoc City requested to handle the responsibility of teachers and the Board of Directors of Duong Dong Kindergarten after the clip of a teacher beating a child appeared. On March 25, the City People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training and the school to report the incident, determined that the teacher violated professional regulations, and the Board of Directors lacked inspection and supervision.
