How to rank primary school teachers' salaries according to new regulations
Circular 31/2026/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating codes, title appointments and salary rankings for teachers in public educational institutions takes effect from April 14, 2026.
The Circular specifies the appointment of titles and salary ranking for primary school teachers.

According to the Circular, civil servants appointed to the title of primary school teacher specified above are subject to the corresponding salary scale issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
Grade III - Code V.07. 03. 29, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A1 is applied from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
Grade II - Code V.07. 03. 28, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2. 2 is applied from salary coefficient 4.00 to salary coefficient 6.38;
Grade I - Code V.07. 03. 27, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2. 1 is applied from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78. See more...

Gia Lai inspects food safety at 350 school kitchens
Over the past time, food safety assurance at collective kitchens and school kitchens in Gia Lai province has been strengthened, but the risk of food insecurity is still present, especially in the stages of controlling raw materials, processing and preservation.

Faced with this reality, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has directed agencies, units, and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety at collective kitchens, especially school kitchens, in order to promptly detect and handle violations.
The Provincial Department of Health is assigned to take the lead in implementing food safety measures; develop inspection plans, focusing on high-risk facilities to promptly detect and strictly handle violations.

Registering for the 2nd round of competency assessment, things candidates need to pay attention to
Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City has opened the registration portal for the 2nd round of the 2026 competency assessment (CA) exam from April 18, candidates can register until the end of April 25.
The second round of competency assessment exam is expected to take place on May 24 in 9 provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Dong Thap and An Giang. Results will be announced on June 6.

Exam subjects are 12th grade high school students or equivalents; independent candidates who have completed the high school program but have not graduated or have graduated can register to take the exam. Candidates who have taken the first phase of the exam can also continue to register for the second phase to improve scores; higher results will be used for admission consideration.
