Teacher case of late payment of overtime teaching salary: Many shortcomings discovered at Chu Secondary School
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper about teachers being late in paying overtime salaries at Chu Secondary School, local authorities have inspected and identified many shortcomings in management work. The school has not summarized, calculated and paid overtime for the 2024-2025 school year; the conversion and determination of overtime is still incorrect, unfounded and not in accordance with regulations.

The inspection results also pointed out that the professional assignment and assignment of concurrent tasks were unreasonable, lacked publicity and transparency, leading to discrepancies in the number of teaching periods between teachers. In addition, management officials have cases of not participating or not ensuring enough teaching periods according to norms. The responsibility is determined to belong to the Principal, Board of Directors and school accounting.
The People's Committee of Chu Ward requests the Principal and Vice Principals to seriously review, urgently review, publicize the number of overtime periods and pay according to regulations, and at the same time rearrange management and transparent professional assignment. After the school reports the implementation results, the locality will summarize and report to higher levels to thoroughly handle the case. See more...
