On the morning of February 23, Minister Nguyen Kim Son visited and wished New Year to officials, employees, workers, students, and trainees of Hanoi National University of Education.
On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Kim Son wished the entire school to enter the new year with a new spirit, new determination, new results and new achievements; joining hands to contribute to innovating all aspects of operation.
According to the Minister, the direction process of the Education sector has gone through many different stages, each stage has chosen key points and breakthroughs suitable to the context. In particular, in the past 5 years, the Ministry's leaders have clearly identified that the breakthrough of all breakthroughs is the teaching force. This is the foundational and fundamental factor for policy planning, focusing investment and care for development. This viewpoint has been consistently maintained throughout many years and the development of the teaching force is inevitably linked to the system of pedagogical schools.
The Minister emphasized that the system of pedagogical schools not only plays a role in training teachers but is also a place to develop educational science, teaching methods and many other important professional contents. In the recent renovation, pedagogical schools have received attention and achieved positive changes, although the care for development is still not commensurate with the set focuses.
In the next 5 years, investment and development of pedagogical schools will continue to be focused on, in which Hanoi National University of Education and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education are identified as two key national schools in network planning.
According to the Minister, the goal is not only to develop a school but to build a pedagogical university model in a comprehensive direction, with a diverse structure, flexible and more imposing model, to meet the requirements of developing the teaching staff in the new context.
This also poses major challenges for the school, from leadership vision to implementation determination. The Minister said that, before the attention and expectations from the outside, each training institution needs to quickly mature from internal strength, turning resources and requirements into specific results.
Entering the new year, the new term and the 5-year development plan, the Minister expressed his expectation that in the next 3-5 years, Hanoi National University of Education will have a different face, associated with the consolidation of the leadership apparatus, key personnel and ready to undertake a large volume of work assigned by the Party, Government and sector.
Responding to the Minister's wishes, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Rector of Hanoi National University of Education affirmed that before the development phase with many major changes, Hanoi National University of Education will continue to strive for innovation, promote the spirit of responsibility, not only for the development of the school but also to make positive contributions to the overall development of the entire Education sector.
