Linked teaching in Hanoi receives many mixed opinions from parents
Many parents in Hanoi reflect that although public school students have been exempted from tuition fees from the 2025-2026 school year, they still have to pay many fees for liên kết programs such as life skills, enhanced English, STEM. Although it is announced as voluntary, many parents believe that registration pressure still exists, causing concern about transparency and fairness among students.
Some parents also raised issues about quality and organization, such as ineffective life skills classes, collecting tuition fees higher than market prices, and unclear or mandatory collection notices. In addition, the lack of disclosure of contracts with affiliated units and financial mechanisms also makes parents concerned.

The school and management agencies explained that the programs are all implemented according to parents' needs and in accordance with regulations, and affirmed the voluntary nature. Some schools have reviewed and adjusted their operations, emphasizing that they will ensure organization outside of official hours, more transparent and in accordance with current regulations. Pedagogy major limits to 5 aspirations, many candidates urgently adjust priority order
According to the 2026 enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates are allowed to register a maximum of 15 aspirations, but the Pedagogy major only considers aspirations from positions 1 to 5. This regulation forces candidates to carefully consider, clearly define their passion and strategically arrange aspirations to increase their chances of admission.
Many students actively develop plans, prioritizing pedagogical training schools in order from highest to lowest, and at the same time combining many admission methods such as high school exam scores, transcripts or competency assessment. High competitive pressure forces candidates to both focus on exam preparation and carefully study their benchmark scores and abilities.
In addition, the admission conditions for the Pedagogy major continue to be tightened, requiring grade 12 academic performance to be excellent and the total admission score from 18 or higher (or graduation score from 8.5). This requires candidates to maintain good academic results and prepare carefully to meet enrollment requirements. See more...
