The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) on the evening of March 29 said that it had received feedback on some questions related to ensuring scientific integrity in the National Science and Technology Research Competition for secondary and high school students in the 2025–2026 school year.
The Ministry said that this is an open competition; therefore, post-conduct review and post-inspection is one of the important tasks of the Organizing Committee to ensure objectivity, transparency and compliance with regulations. Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training has directed functional units to coordinate with the Organizing Committee of the competition, the Judging Panel and related organizations and individuals to conduct inspection, verification, and clarification of the reflected contents.
Based on the results of review and verification, in case violations are detected, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Organizing Committee of the contest will consider and strictly handle them in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 24/2025/TT-BGDĐT amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulations of the National Science and Technology Research Competition for secondary and high school students, along with relevant legal regulations; ensuring the principles of objectivity, fairness, transparency and seriousness.
The national-level scientific and technical research competition for students in the 2025-2026 school year takes place in three days (March 20, 21, 22) at Phenikaa University (Hanoi).

This is the first time that 100% of departments of education and training have participated; along with 17 universities and academies. Thus, the total number of delegations participating in this year's competition is 51, with 242 entries, an increase of more than 30 entries compared to last year.
At the closing ceremony held on the afternoon of March 22, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 145 projects, including 14 first prizes, 29 second prizes, 44 third prizes and 58 consolation prizes.
