Amidst the busy pace of life in Can Tho City, in a rented space of about 10 m2 in Cai Khe ward, Nguyen Anh Tuan still diligently studies every day with the desire to step into the university lecture hall. Behind the gentle appearance of a 12th grade student is the hard-working story of a mother and daughter who have fought against illness and poverty for many years, but have never given up their studies.
Tuan grew up in an incomplete family. After his parents divorced, his mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Van, brought her child from An Giang province to Can Tho City to rent a room to live by selling bread.

Nghe An implements many solutions to reduce the pressure of 10th grade enrollment
On May 14, information from the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Nghe An province said that the 10th grade enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, due to a sudden increase in the number of students, the education sector has implemented many measures to reduce enrollment pressure and create more learning opportunities for students.
Accordingly, the number of 9th grade students in the 2025-2026 school year will reach more than 57,000, an increase of more than 10,000 compared to the previous school year. Faced with this situation, the education sector has advised the People's Committee of Nghe An province to approve an increase in enrollment quotas for public high schools, especially in the Vinh City area (old).
