The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has issued an Official Dispatch guiding the work of the school council. The document stated: The Politburo issued Resolution 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development, which stipulates that school councils are not organized at public educational institutions (except for public schools with international agreements).
From September 12, 2025, the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the school board will continue to operate until new instructions are available. In case the Chairman has reached the management age, the Vice Chairman (if any) will run it, or the school board will elect a temporary chairman. At the same time, stop planning for the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the University Council.
The planning and appointment of new Directors, Deputy Directors, Principals and Deputy Principals will also be temporarily suspended, except for reappointment when the term expires. Quang Tri lacks nearly 600 teachers
At the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, the Quang Tri education sector lacked nearly 600 teachers compared to the norm, although the Provincial People's Council approved the policy of contracting an additional 1,372 targets according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP. This figure only meets about 70% of the demand, making the shortage of teachers continue to be a big challenge.
To overcome this, the education sector has synchronously implemented many solutions such as teacher contracts according to approved targets, concurrent arrangement, teacher transfers between schools, rearrangement of the school network and flexible assignment so that no class has a shortage of teachers. At the same time, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to review and analyze the current status of the team to propose a long-term recruitment plan.
The leaders of the education sector affirmed that teacher contracts are still an important solution in the immediate future to ensure the maintenance of teaching activities, but in the long term, it is necessary to add an official payroll to improve the quality of sustainable education.
