Deputy Minister of Education and Training encourages candidates and requires "4 true - 3 no" in the 2025 exam
On June 13, Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong - Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam - led the Working Group to inspect exam preparation work in Ninh Binh province. At the Luong Van Tue High School for the Gifted exam site, the Deputy Minister visited and encouraged students, acknowledging the sense of responsibility of teachers in reviewing for students.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of this year's exam when it was first implemented under the 2018 General Education Program, along with candidates under the 2006 program. He requested the province to strictly implement the spirit of "4 true - 3 no" direction, ensuring the exam is safe, objective, effective and paying attention to the marking work in accordance with changes in administrative boundaries.
Currently, Ninh Binh has fully prepared facilities, organization plans and mobilized more than 2,200 officers to look after the exam for 25 exam locations with 12,667 candidates registering to take the exam. The Ministry of Education and Training talks about cases of students being disciplined and forced to drop out of school
The Ministry of Education and Training answers questions about applying the form of compulsory school dismissal for students subject to priority policies, who have not graduated due to insufficient number of classes or average scores but have long days off are not allowed.
According to Circular 10/2016/TT-BGDDT, students who are suspended from school but continue to violate, or have serious violations that negatively affect the school, society, or are subject to imprisonment for violating the law may be forced to drop out of school.
Cases of students who have dropped out of school without a reason for many years are in the group of violations as stipulated in Appendix to Circular 10. The specific handling is decided by the school based on the nature, severity and number of violations. See more...

The new look of the 350 billion VND High School for the Gifted in Lao Cai
On June 12, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper recorded the urgent construction atmosphere at the Lao Cai High School for the Gifted project. Many blocks have taken shape, workers are rolling the floor, paving bricks, and constructing auxiliary items.

The project is invested by the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, with a total investment of 350 billion VND. The main items include classrooms, libraries, halls, gymnasiums, canteens, dormitories and technical auxiliary systems, deployed on a floor area of tens of thousands of square meters.
The project started in February 2024 and is expected to be basically completed in July 2025. Currently, the progress has reached about 90%, the contractor is mobilizing 250 workers to speed up the rough construction and hand over to the interior construction units next month. See more...
