Many school officials pay a total of 4.2 billion VND to fix admission violations
From the 2016 2017 to 2020-2021 school year, Ngoc Lac Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Thanh Hoa) has recruited a total of 81 students incorrectly, leading to incorrect payment of the regime with a total cost of more than 4.7 billion VND. Incorrect enrollment occurred for 3 consecutive school years, and no violations were detected in the following years.

In order to remedy the consequences, many related officials and leaders voluntarily returned a total of more than 4.2 billion VND. Among them are individuals such as Mr. Pham Van Dat - former Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Ms. Pham Thi Ngan - former Head of the District Department of Education and Training, along with principals, vice principals, and teachers who have participated in the school's enrollment work.

The public 10th grade race in Ho Chi Minh City reduces stress
In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City has about 88,000 students expected to graduate from junior high school, a decrease of 28,000 students compared to the previous year. The rate of enrollment in grade 10 of public high school increased to 79%, equivalent to 70,070 targets, helping to reduce exam pressure for students.
