Hanoi awards 105 excellent teachers at high school level
The 2024-2025 high school excellent teacher contest organized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training from February 11 to April 4 attracted 105 teachers to participate in three subjects: Math, English and Technology. These are the best teachers, selected from more than 5,000 teachers across the city. Each teacher will conduct a practical lesson and present measures to improve the quality of subject teaching.
The contest is an opportunity for teachers to exchange and share professional experiences, promote the emulation movement to teach well, and contribute to improving the quality of education. The average age of teachers participating this year is 38.3. The teachers with the oldest years are teacher Tu Trung, technology teacher with industrial orientation at Cao Ba Quat High School - born in 1968, the youngest teachers are Ms. Ngo Phuong Anh and Mr. Pham Tien Cuong (both born in 2000).

Round 1 of the specialized competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (VNU) this year has more than 10,000 candidates registered to take the exam.
The morning of April 4 - the second day of the first round of the specialized competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education continued. On today's exam day, nearly 1,300 candidates took the exam in Math, Literature, and English.
The first phase of the exam lasted for 4 days, from April 3 to 6 with 10,368 candidates registering at 5 exam locations. The 2025 Ho Chi Minh City University of Education's specialized competency assessment exam includes 6 subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English. 3 high schools in Hanoi have just been recognized as national standards
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training recognizes 128 national standard schools, including 3 national standard high schools, respectively: Khuong Dinh (1st standard), Dong My (1st standard) and Nguyen Quoc Trinh (2nd standard).
Dong My and Nguyen Quoc Trinh High School are both located in Thanh Tri district. At the secondary level, 13 schools are recognized as national standard level 1 and 15 schools are level 2. Notably, the Secondary School of Foreign Languages (University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has been recognized as a level 1 standard along with 13 other secondary schools.
Two other "scoring" secondary schools, Giang Vo and Le Quy Don, were recognized as having the standard level 2 for the first time. In addition, 44 primary schools and 53 kindergartens in Hanoi were recognized as national standards this time.
