The above content is stipulated in the resolution stipulating the content of spending and the level of spending for the preparation and organization of general education exams in the area approved by the Hanoi People's Council on the morning of May 11.
The Resolution applies to many exams such as 10th grade high school enrollment, 10th grade specialized enrollment, high school graduation exam, city and national excellent student exams.
In which, the highest spending level is for teachers participating in exam marking work belonging to the group marking essay exams, oral exams, and practical exams in the city-level excellent student selection exam for cultural subjects. The salary for this group is 1.23 million VND/person/day.
For the entrance exam to 10th grade specialized high schools, teachers grading specialized subject exams are entitled to 770,000 VND/person/day. The head of the exam grading team alone receives an additional 240,000 VND per grading session in addition to the exam grading fee.
In the 10th grade non-specialized high school entrance exam, the fee for grading essay and multiple-choice exam papers is 620,000 VND/person/day. The head of the grading board receives 770,000 VND/day, and the deputy head of the board receives 660,000 VND/day.
For the high school graduation exam, the expenditure for teachers grading essay and multiple-choice exams has been increased to 770,000 VND/person/day. The head of the exam grading board receives 99,000 VND/day, and the deputy head of the board receives 820,000 VND/day.
In addition to exam marking, the resolution also details the remuneration levels for the stages of setting exam questions, printing and copying exam questions, invigilating exams, checking, re-examining and building an exam question bank.
The Resolution also stipulates that the person in charge of building the maze of exam questions, exam question descriptions or issuing official multiple-choice and essay exam questions in some exams may be entitled to a level of 1.23 million VND/day.
In addition to teachers, the forces serving the exam such as police, medical, security, and service staff are also specified with specific spending levels. Accordingly, members of the security and medical forces participating in serving the exams are entitled to from 300,000 to nearly 700,000 VND/day depending on their position and duties.
According to the resolution, the spending levels are calculated for working hours of 8 hours/day. Working at night is entitled to an additional 130% of the normal day salary; working on holidays, Tet holidays can be calculated from 150% to 300% depending on the time and nature of the work.
The resolution also clearly states that in case a person performs many different tasks in the same day, they will only receive the highest remuneration.
The funding source for implementation is from the city budget and other legal funding sources (if any).
