Hanoi Law University has just issued enrollment information for 2026 for undergraduate level in formal training.
Accordingly, this year, Hanoi Law University is expected to enroll 2,850 university targets, according to 3 methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; High school transcript review; High school graduation exam score review.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh, Vice Rector - Standing Vice Chairman of the school's Admissions Council, said that the school has increased the number of admissions by 200 compared to 2025 to create more opportunities for candidates.
3 admission methods and admission combinations like in recent years, so candidates are not surprised or disrupted in their plans for admission methods or admission combinations in the context that they are almost finished grade 12 and about to enter the high school graduation exam.
With the high school transcript review method, the admission score is the academic result of 3 subjects belonging to the admission combinations by major for the whole year of grade 10, the whole year of grade 11 and the whole year of grade 12, a 30-point scale. The admission score calculation formula is as follows:
ĐXT = (ĐTB Subject 1 + ĐTB Subject 2 + ĐTB Subject 3) + ĐC (if any) + ĐƯT (if any)
(In which, ĐXT: Admission score; ĐTB: Average score; ĐC: Plus points; ĐƯT: Priority points).
Average score (APR) per subject = (APR for the whole year of grade 10 + APR for the whole year of grade 11 + APR for the whole year of grade 12 of the corresponding subject)/3.
With the admission method based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam, the admission score is on a 30-point scale, equal to the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination and bonus points (if any), priority points (if any).

The principle is to consider admission from high to low until the end of the announced enrollment number according to the enrollment source and not lower than the input threshold, without distinguishing the order of aspirations between candidates.
If the admission according to each major and training location does not meet the announced enrollment quantity, the remaining enrollment quantity will be transferred to other majors/programs and training locations.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh said that a new point in this year's enrollment season compared to 2025 is that the school will add bonus points for candidates with foreign language certificates or international certificates.
Accordingly, candidates with international foreign language certificates should note that if the certificate is used to convert admission scores, it should not be used to add bonus points.
A bonus point is the total bonus points, bonus consideration points, bonus points not exceeding 10% of the maximum score of the admission score scale, in which:
The maximum bonus point is 1.5 points, for candidates who are considered for direct admission but do not use the right to direct admission;
The bonus consideration score, a maximum of 1.5 points, is for candidates with achievements or special talents;
Consolation points, up to 1.5 points, are for candidates with foreign language certificates or international certificates valid to the time of admission consideration.
The school will have specific notices and instructions for candidates with aspirations, and the expected registration time is from May 2026.
