The Ministry of Education and Training announced the Draft dossier of the draft Decree detailing the implementation of Resolution No. 218/2025/QH15 dated June 26, 2025 of the National Assembly on popularizing preschool education for children aged 3 to 5 for units and individuals to comment.
One of the highlights is the policy of investing in team development and attracting recruitment for preschool teachers and staff.
Preschool teachers at public preschools, newly recruited from the 2025-2026 school year, perform the task of nurturing, caring for and educating children from 3 to 5 years old to meet the requirements of universal preschool education, if committed to working for at least 5 years at the unit, will enjoy an attraction policy equivalent to at least 1 year of basic salary.
If the draft is approved, the minimum one-time allowance is about VND59 million (calculated according to the formula of 2.1 x 12 months x VND2,340,000 - current basic salary).
In addition, employees of public preschools (including contracts in the staff quota and those during the probationary period) working in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions who are doing the task of popularizing preschool education for children aged 3 to 5 years old and who have 15 days/month or more in the month to go to villages, hamlets, hamlets, and hamlets are entitled to support funds of VND 960,000/month (support fees not used to calculate social insurance contributions and benefits).
