These are two projects of special significance to the education and training career of Cau Giay ward in implementing 2-level local government, inaugurated on the morning of August 28.
According to Mr. Ngo Ngoc Phuong - Chairman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee, located in the west of the ancient Thang Long citadel, Ha Yen Quyet village, also known as Coat village, is the origin of the tradition of attaching importance to learning and religion; need to be diligent and creative in labor, developing handicrafts from the Ly - Tran era.
It is from that cultural source and spirit that Ha Yen Quyet Primary and Secondary School was established as a symbol continuing the tradition of studiousness and aspiration to develop local education. The school is named after the sacred ancient village with the meaning of not only a place of study, but also a place to preserve and spread the precious historical and humanistic values of the ancient Thang Long land.
The project started on December 30, 2023 and was completed on August 13, 2025, invested in construction on a land area of 8,000m2 with a scale of 4 floors above ground, 1 attic, 1 basement and newly invested auxiliary items and facilities meeting the standards of the Department of Education and Training, ensuring the conditions and standards according to regulations for operation.
In the new school year, Ha Yen Quyet Primary School will organize 12 classes, with 28 teachers and staff serving the teaching of 426 students. Ha Yen Quyet Secondary School organized 11 classes, with 36 teachers and staff serving 368 students. This is a favorable premise for children of local people to study in a modern and safe learning environment.
Mr. Ngo Ngoc Phuong said that with modern facilities, along with a team of dedicated and dedicated managers and teachers, Cau Giay ward aims to become a bright spot in the quality of education, a place to nurture knowledge, ethics, and personality for generations of students; making an important contribution to the ward's education career, building an increasingly rich and civilized locality.
