On October 28, the Hanoi People's Committee honored and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the contest "Road to Olympia 25th".
At the final round of "Road to Olympia 25th Year" held on October 26, Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a 12th grade high school student majoring in Business Administration at Hanoi - Amsterdam, won the championship with 215 points in the final round.
Speaking at the conference, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) Tran The Cuong said that Hanoi has a very large scale of education, ranking second in the country.
With the attention of the city's leaders, in recent times, the capital's education has made efforts to overcome many difficulties, with remarkable changes in the quality of mass and spearhead education. The city's students have always affirmed their leading position in national and international exams for many years.
In recent years, students in the city have also participated and won prizes in the Road to Olympia competition, but their achievements have not been as expected. The result of student Tran Bui Bao Khanh in this year's competition is an honor and inspiration for students in the capital.
At the conference, representatives of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the reward decision of the City People's Committee.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee signed a decision to award Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and individuals with achievements in the "Road to Olympia 25th Year" contest.
4 units and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit, including: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted; Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; teacher Bui Thi Thu Ha - homeroom teacher of grade 12 special education at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and student Tran Bui Bao Khanh - grade 12 special education at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
In addition to the Certificate of Merit, student Tran Bui Bao Khanh was also awarded 50 million VND by the City People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training.
Bao Khanh shared that this result is his joy and honor and also a gift of gratitude that he sent to those who have always accompanied and supported him to overcome difficulties and win.
The male student believes that winning the Road to Olympia is not a destination, nor a stop. At the same time, he promised to continue to cultivate, improve himself and try harder in studying and practicing.
Bao Khanh won the First Prize in the City-level Excellent Student Competition (HSG) for Science subjects in the 2022-2023 school year; Second Prize in the City-level HSG Biology Competition in the 2023-2024 school year; Second Prize in the City-level HSG Biology Competition in the 2024-2025 school year; Silver Medal in the 2025 High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences Olympic Competition (HSGS Olympiad).
