On July 17, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan and delegates of the City People's Council, Election Unit No. 2 (Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Hong Ha wards) met with voters after the 25th session of the City People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Regarding voters' recommendations on renovating the Hong Ha ward headquarters to operate more smoothly and receive citizens more effectively, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan suggested that the Department of Finance study and ensure that the headquarters has full amenities and best serve the operation of the government apparatus. In addition, research to effectively and economically use the remaining headquarters of the wards before the arrangement.
Regarding the planning of the Red River bank, according to the Chairman of the City People's Council, this area currently has a plan and the City People's Council has a resolution on the use of riverbank land, so the locality needs to have a specific project to implement; carry out renovation and attract investment in an appropriate and effective form.
Regarding the policy of supporting meals for students, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan informed that in the coming time, the city will continue to review the roadmap for supporting meals for other levels of education. On the afternoon of July 9, the Hanoi People's Council voted to pass a resolution on supporting boarding meals for primary school students, starting from the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the submission, students studying at educational institutions in mountainous areas and communes located on the banks of the Red River will be supported with 30,000 VND/student/day. Primary school students studying at remaining educational institutions in the area will be supported with 20,000 VND/student/day.
The estimated cost of supporting boarding meals for 100% of primary school students in the 2025-2026 school year is more than 3,000 billion VND.
The total number of primary school students supported is about 768,000 students, including 707,720 students in the public sector and 60,270 students in the private sector.
