The entrance exam for 10th grade high school in the 2026-2027 school year in Hai Phong City will include 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language (including one of the subjects English, French, Japanese, Korean).
Regarding the expected exam time, the mass block will be organized from June 2nd and 4th. In which, Literature subject is tested in essay form, Math and Foreign Language are tested in multiple-choice form. Students take the specialized school entrance exam on June 5th and 6th. The Math exam format for this exam has changed after merging Hai Duong and Hai Phong. When not yet merged, the entrance exam for 10th grade in the 2025 - 2026 school year in Hai Duong province (old), mathematics was tested in essay form; while in Hai Phong, it was tested in multiple-choice form.
Previously, at the entrance exam to 10th grade public high schools in the 2025 - 2026 academic year, Hai Phong City also selected 3 exam subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language (including one of the subjects: English, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese).
