Currently, the locality has directed schools to let all students stay home to ensure safety. about 3,700 students have been notified of a day off since this morning. Schools are required to only let students go home when parents come to pick them up; in case there is no one to pick them up, they will be kept at school.
According to the People's Committee of Phu Loc commune, the water level in Hoa Mau village, 6, 7, 8 and Dong Luu village continues to rise. In village 8, water from the upstream of Bach Ma flooded strongly, overflooding many residential roads, making it difficult to travel.
Local authorities have deployed forces to be on duty at vulnerable locations, warn of fast-flowing water and prepare response plans to ensure people's safety.
