By 8:30 a.m. the same day, the rain had not stopped, many areas continued to be deeply flooded, making it difficult for people to move, vehicles stalled in large numbers, and traffic congestion for a long time.

On Phan Boi Chau Street (Nha Trang Ward), the section leading to Dam Market, many motorbikes stalled in the middle of the water. People had to wade through the water to move through this area.
Meanwhile, in Bac Nha Trang ward, Pham Van Dong street has many deeply flooded spots. The Cao Van Be - Pham Van Dong intersection was heavily flooded, many vehicles had to climb onto the sidewalk to avoid the water.

Notably, due to the heavy rain, some sewer covers on Pham Van Dong Street were blown up due to water pressure, causing water to drain out in time and endangering road users.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 3 hours (from 4am to 7am on October 16), Khanh Hoa province had moderate to heavy rain, with common rainfall of 20 - 40mm, some places over 60mm.


It is forecasted that in the next 3 - 6 hours, Khanh Hoa will continue to have rain, some places are likely to have very heavy rain.
