On April 5, Hue University of Law announced that the University of Law Student Support Scholarship Fund was established on November 22, 2022 and is supported by Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Luong - Principal of the University of Law is Chairman of the Fund Management Board.
The fund operates with the goal of supporting students with serious illnesses; students with accidents and injuries; students in difficult circumstances due to the impact of natural disasters, storms and floods; students whose father/mother is suffering from serious illnesses and is being treated for the disease; students in other particularly difficult circumstances but not eligible for the policy according to regulations.
The fund provides periodic support twice a school year in February and September, in addition, in case of emergency, the Council will consider supporting no more than 2 working days from the date of receipt of the application to ensure timely support.
According to statistics from the HUL Student Support Fund, after nearly 3 years of establishment, the fund has received more than 50 grants from units, individuals, organizations and alumni, trainees and practical contributions with a total value of more than 600 million VND, typically Van Ly Law Office of Can Tho City has donated 150 million VND, Agribank and the system of companies under the Central region's banking sector have donated 135 million VND, HMS Law Firm of Hue City has donated 40 million VND. And also from the "common home" of the HUL Student Support Fund, students and their families have had more support and continued to pursue their learning path.
With clear and correct purpose and criteria, the HUL Student Support Scholarship Fund has created prestige, consensus and trust from its companions, and annual scholarships with only a few dozen students initially beneficiaries have increased to nearly 200 students beneficiaries in nearly 3 years of implementation.
In the future, the HUL Scholarship Fund hopes to continue to receive support from individuals, businesses, and domestic and foreign graduates to work with the University of Law and Hue University not only to provide financial support but also to develop projects to improve in-depth knowledge and life skills, helping students have a professional attitude and working style, contributing to the development of the country.
On April 5, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Luong - Principal of the University of Law said that on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the school's founding (2015 - 2025), the University of Law decided to support each student with 200,000 VND, including K45, K46, K47, K48 courses.
It is expected that more than 3,000 students will receive support money this time, with a total cost of more than 600 million VND. Students provide the personal account number of each person in the class to receive the support. The deadline for providing account information is April 5.
