On March 30, the Trade Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) announced that the unit had just awarded more than 50 scholarships and playgrounds to Hai Le Primary and Secondary School (Quang Tri town).
Mr. Tran Phuong - Chairman of BIDV Trade Union said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), BIDV has chosen Hai Le Primary and Secondary School to present a playground and scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties. This is the sentiment and gratitude of BIDV staff and employees.
"This is a small gift but I hope it will be useful and practical for you, I hope you are always happy, healthy, caring, and good at studying" - Mr. Tran Phuong shared.
It is known that in recent times, BIDV staff and employees have had special feelings for the land of Quang Tri town - which suffered fiercely during the war years.
With the principle of drinking water reminiscent of its source, gratitude and social responsibility", BIDV has contributed to building a Memorial Temple and a flower release wharf on the North bank of Thach Han River, contributing to the restoration of the special national relic site of Quang Tri Citadel to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the country.
