University of Science and Technology awards 100 scholarships to Dien Bien students

Dien Bien and Hanoi University of Science and Technology have just signed a cooperation agreement on training human resources in science and technology, digital transformation.

On March 28, Dien Bien province and Hanoi University of Science and Technology had a working session to agree on cooperation contents for the period 2025-2030.

The two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement under the following 3 contents:

Cooperate in developing and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to serve healthcare, education, agriculture, natural resources and environment and tourism.

Research, transfer advanced technology and innovation in the fields of agricultural products, forestry, natural resources and environment, monitoring, supervision, and warning of natural disasters.

Training and developing human resources in management, science and technology, education, innovation and digital transformation.

In the cooperation program, Hanoi University of Science and Technology offers 100 scholarships to students in Dien Bien province studying STEAM majors.

Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that the province will support, coordinate and provide full necessary information for Hanoi University of Science and Technology to conduct research and surveys at units, agencies, enterprises, agricultural farms, and raw material areas when developing cooperation projects with units under the province.
