On April 7, representatives of Luong The Vinh Secondary School - confirmed that the school and parents had organized a working session and mediation for the male students involved in the fight.
According to Mr. Nam, the school's point of view is to closely coordinate with parents, listen to the thoughts and feelings of students to have appropriate educational directions.
At the meeting, the school clearly analyzed the health and mental harms caused by the act of violence, thereby requesting students to admit their mistakes, apologize and commit not to repeat it. The students then shook hands, reconciled, and closed the case.
According to Mr. Bui Hoai Nam, the students are still young, so the school should remind parents to continue to monitor and pay more attention to the students in the process of learning and development.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 2, Tay Nha Trang Ward Police said that they had received information about the case of a 6th grade student being beaten by a classmate and invited relevant parties to work.
Specifically, at about 2:30 PM on April 1st, functional forces received a report about a group of students scuffling in the park area of Phu Trung 1 residential group. Immediately after that, the working group was present at the scene to verify.
Through inspection, P.D. K (born in 2013, 6th grade student) was injured in the head area, bleeding and was taken to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The initial cause was determined to stem from a conflict in borrowing a bicycle between K. and two classmates, T.T. Th. and T.A. T. (both born in 2014).
On April 1st, the Ward Police sent officers to the hospital to determine the injury status of K., and at the same time invited parents of related students to work.
K.'s parents said that their child's injuries were not serious. Due to the limited awareness of the students, the family did not request criminal handling but requested functional agencies to deter and educate them so that they would not re-offend.
On the same day, the Board of Directors of Luong The Vinh Secondary School sent teachers to the hospital to visit and encourage K., and at the same time invited the parents of the two students who caused injuries to come to work to rectify and remind them. The families of T.T. Th. and T.A. T. also came to visit, encourage and show goodwill to overcome the consequences, helping them to clearly recognize their wrongdoings.
