Dong Hoi City students return to school from September 20

Preschool, primary and secondary school students in Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh Province) returned to school from September 20.

On the evening of September 19, the Department of Education and Training of Dong Hoi (Quang Binh province) announced that it had just issued a document announcing that preschool, primary and secondary school students in the city would return to school from September 20.

Previously, implementing Official Dispatch No. 06 dated September 18 of the Chairman of Dong Hoi City People's Committee on responding to storm No. 4 and heavy rain, educational institutions in Dong Hoi City allowed students to take a day off on the afternoon of September 19 to ensure the safety of students, teachers and staff.

Through monitoring the weather situation as well as the weather bulletin at 4pm today (September 19), storm No. 4 has weakened into a tropical depression, the dangerous natural disaster caused by the storm in the city has decreased. Therefore, students will return to school from tomorrow (September 20). Educational institutions also organize general cleaning, check safety work after the storm, prepare necessary conditions to welcome students back to school. At the same time, continue to closely monitor the weather developments after the storm to proactively respond and organize appropriate educational activities at the unit.
