In 2025, schools in the Army are expected to enroll more than 4,200 students for training of secondary school-level cadres at the university level. In addition, there are 4 officer schools and colleges recruiting students to train technical staff; the Air Force Officer School organizes both undergraduate and college admissions.
Among the training units, there are 4 academies recruiting female candidates including: Military Technical Academy, Military Medical Academy, Military Science Academy and Logistics Academy.
Regarding the admission method, military schools apply 3 forms: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense; admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University; admission based on high school graduation exam scores. Candidates can register to participate in all three of these methods.
