Nghe An Association of Former Teachers Spreads Colleagiate Affection, Supports Brave Teachers

Nghe An - More than 266 million VND was awarded to support teacher Hoang Thi Hien, who was recently awarded the Medal of Courage.

On the afternoon of September 18, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Association of Former Teachers awarded 266.72 million VND to support teacher Hoang Thi Hien - a teacher at Phu Son Kindergarten, Nghia Hanh commune.

This is the amount of money that the Nghe An Provincial Association of Former Teachers received after a week, from September 9-15, launching members and philanthropists to join hands to help teacher Hoang Thi Hien.

Attending the support ceremony were Meritorious Teacher, Master Tran Huu Hy - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Association of Former Teachers, along with members of the Standing Committee of the Association; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam - Chairman of Nghia Hanh Commune People's Committee and local representatives.

Meritorious Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province and representatives of units also attended and witnessed the handover of the support money.

According to the Nghe An Provincial Association of Former Teachers, the amount of 266.72 million VND is the affection and sharing of the team of former teachers and philanthropists, contributing to supporting treatment costs and adding strength for teacher Hoang Thi Hien to recover soon.

Previously, on September 16, the President decided to award the Medal of Courage to teacher Hoang Thi Hien in recognition of her courageous action in saving a 2-year-old kindergarten student.

The fact that teacher Hoang Thi Hien was awarded the Medal of Courage is assessed by the Nghe An education sector as a recognition of her selfless action in saving students, and also a great source of encouragement for her and her family during the treatment process.

The Nghe An Provincial Association of Former Teachers said that the donation activity is not only aimed at providing material support but also spreading the spirit of mutual affection, colleagueship and gratitude for the courageous actions of teacher Hoang Thi Hien.
