According to the plan, the 10th grade entrance exam will take place from June 5 to 7, 2025 as planned.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Dak Nong province, in the 2025 - 2026 school year, the whole province will have about more than 10,000 students completing grade 9.
Of which, 11/32 high schools in districts and cities organized the 10th grade entrance exam. The admission exam format is applied in central areas with a large number of students and sufficient facilities.
This is the first time Dak Nong province has organized the entrance exam for grade 10 after implementing zoning and adjusting the form of admission.
Currently, all facilities at the test sites have been carefully inspected and reviewed. Exam rooms, desks and chairs, electrical systems, air conditioners, surveillance cameras, etc. all meet requirements. The Department of Education and Training of Dak Nong province has also selected and trained a team of experienced exam supervisors and judges to strictly implement the exam regulations.
Mr. Tran Si Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, said: This is an important exam, creating a transition to the quality of general education. The Department has closely directed schools and coordinated with localities to deploy preparations to ensure compliance with the plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee".
The Department has issued a document guiding the zoning of grade 10 enrollment in accordance with Decision (No. 342/QD-UBND) dated March 11, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee. Schools are required to strictly implement the enrollment area and not accept illegal applications. The Department also set up a hotline to receive feedback from parents and students during the registration process.
Regarding the exam content, students will take 3 compulsory subjects including Literature in the form of an essay exam; Math and English in the form of multiple-choice exam.
The exam is organized in a centralized manner, using the general exam questions of the whole province according to the department. The printing of exam questions is carried out according to a strict security process, with strict isolation and supervision.
The examination and judging committees established by the department will be mobilized by supervisors according to the cross-examination plan between schools to ensure objectivity.

The time for schools to receive documents is until May 30. The exam takes place from June 5-7. The results are expected to be announced before June; the appeal will be accepted from June 18-20, The list of first-time candidates will be listed before July 3, 2025.
