The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Da Nang took place from June 2 to 4, with 11,854 candidates registering to take the exam.
Candidates take 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City established 28 exam locations, 491 exam rooms and 2 exam locations for candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, with 57 exam rooms.
The enrollment quota for public high schools is 10,296 students, the quota for the continuing education system is 714 students. To serve the exam, the city's Department of Education and Training has selected high schools and secondary schools with facilities to set 26 exam locations with 491 exam rooms and 2 exam locations for candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, with 57 exam rooms.
The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City mobilized more than 2,000 teachers to review and grade the exam, and coordinated with the Da Nang City Police to mobilize nearly 120 officers and soldiers to protect security and order at the exam printing points and exam viewing points.
Mr. Pham Tan Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City said: "At this time, the preparation work has been completed. This morning, students focused on studying the exam regulations and tomorrow morning they will focus on the first exam.
"As every year, departments and branches coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City to organize the 10th grade entrance exam to take place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations. The police force also supported at the 28 Exam Councils and at the Testing Boards. In addition, there is a traffic police force to ensure traffic security and order," said Mr. Thuy.
